Donna Marie (Bange) McDaniel, 75, of Festus died May 2, 2024. Mrs. McDaniel earned a master's degree in science. She worked as a vice president of human resources for Mercy Health Plans before she retired. She was a member of Our Lady Catholic Church in Festus. She loved antique collecting, bicycling, walking, traveling and, most importantly, spending time with her family and friends. Born Aug. 21, 1948, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Linnie (Hoffman) and Herman Bange.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years: Robert Patrick McDaniel of Festus; three brothers: David Bange of La Crosse, Wis., Paul (Judi) Bange of Oregon and Steven (Sandy) Bange of St. Louis; many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Linda Host.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, May 9, at Our Lady Catholic Church, 550 St. Marys Lane, in Festus. Entombment will follow in the Peaceful Ridge Mausoleum in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, 8085 Saltsburg Road, 201 Pittsburgh, PA 15239. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
