Donna Kay Patton, 73, of Dittmer died Jan. 18, 2024, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mrs. Patton worked for Maritz doing marketing research for 29 years and was a member of Compass Ministries Church in St. Clair. Born Aug. 7, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, he was the daughter of the late Wanda (Merritt) and Jack Sample.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years: John "Rob" Patton of Dittmer; three children: James (Joell) Patton of Barnhart, Gina (Eric) Spencer of Millstadt, Ill., and Jackie Patton of Dittmer; eight grandchildren: Brian (Chelsea) Patton of Hillsboro, Kyle (Adrianne) Benz of Cedar Hill, James Spencer of Millstadt, Ill., Robbie (MacKenzie Robb) Spencer of Cedar Hill, Noah (Calista Rowbottom) of Barnhart, Kaylee (Jake) Dillon of House Springs, Jenna (Collin Mooney) of Dittmer,
and Emma Spencer of Dittmer; three great-grandchildren: Addison Patton of Hillsboro, Brian Patton Jr. of Hillsboro and Emmett Lane of Dittmer; and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Compass Ministries Church, 5516 Dry Branch Road, in St. Clair, officiated by Pastor Jim Creath.
