Donna (Denton) Perkey, 66, of French Village died March 19, 2026. Ms. Perkey worked as a loan officer for Vantage Credit Union. She loved to bass fish and she usually out-fished those who were with her. In the spring, she was an avid morel mushroom hunter and taught people how to spot them. She came to know Jesus in the last few years and became strong in her faith. Most of all, she loved spending time with her two grandchildren. Born Sept. 16, 1959, in Ironton, she was the daughter of Jane (Zapf) Denton of Crystal City and the late Morris Raymond Denton.
In addition to her mother, she is survived two sons: Justin (Chelsea) Beck of Fort Myers, Fla., and Tyler (Kristen) Beck of Ste. Genevieve; two grandchildren: Taylor and Cassidy; and five siblings: Diane (Dennis) Green of Woodstock, Ga., Danny (the late Gretchen) Denton of Festus, Debbie Denton of French Village, David (the late Patty) Denton of Crystal City and Dean Denton of St. Louis.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 9 a.m. until a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Interment will be Hickory Cemetery in Bismarck. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
