Donald Ray Butler Jr., 64, of Dittmer died Aug. 19, 2025. Mr. Butler owned a small business in his hometown and was affectionately known by many as the “Honorary Mayor of Dittmer.” He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his larger-than-life presence, good humor and kind heart. Born July 12, 1961, he was the son of the late Mary Helen and Donald Butler Sr.
He is survived by his daughter: Christina “Boog” (Josh) Williams; two grandsons: Coby and Hunter Williams; two sisters: Teresa (Cary) Blum and Kelly (Wally) Jones; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by several family members and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Fenton.
