Diana Lynn Schwalbert, 59, of Imperial died Feb. 9, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Schwalbert worked as an administrative assistant and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial. Born Aug. 19, 1965, in Kirkwood, she was the daughter of David E. Mertz of High Ridge and the late Vernie J. (Beaubot) Mertz.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband: Michael Schwalbert of Imperial; three children: Andrew (Lauren Marie) Schwalbert of Imperial, Brian Chura of St. Louis and Lauren Michelle Schwalbert of Rock Hill; two grandchildren: Savannah Marie and Vivian Drew Schwalbert; three siblings: Dana (Greg) Kenison of Monroe City, Debbie (Bart) Anderson of St. Louis and David Mertz Jr. of High Ridge; and two siblings-in-law: Laura (Jeff) Kreitler and Steve (Kelly) Schwalbert.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis County.
