Dennis E. Watson, 71, of Imperial died March 31, 2025. Mr. Watson retired from the United States Postal Service where he was known for commitment to work and integrity. He enjoyed listening to music, strumming his guitar and spending time with family and friends. Born May 31, 1953, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Homer and Dorothy (Van Meter) Watson.
He is survived by his special companion: Hazel “Geri” Utz; the mother of his children: Donna Trainer; two children: Stacey (Carey) McIver and Tina (David) Addison; 12 grandchildren: Kari Stockglausner, Ray McIver, Geanna Watson, Samantha Stevens, Katheryn Kovarik, Randi Addison, Jon Watson, Courtney McClain, Kacie Watson, Jacob Watson, Allie Wulsch and Caleb Watson; four siblings: Joyce (Jim) Ringsaker, Mike Watson, Linda “Cookie” Watson and Gary (Penny) Watson; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by two sons: Kevin Watson and Robert “Bobby” Watson; a stepdaughter: Crystal Utz; and three siblings: Kenny Watson, Ronald Watson and Janice Watson.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until services at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
