Denise Louise DeLawter, 75, of St. Louis died June 4, 2026. Ms. DeLawter graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in accounting. She retired after 30 years of service with AT&T. Born Oct. 19, 1950, in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Marvin Wayne and Margaret Louise (Berry) DeLawter.
She is survived by two sisters: Barbara (the late John) Long of St. Louis and Michelle (Andrew) Fox of Jerseyville, Ill.; and her nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. until a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
