Della Mae Kramer, 88, of De Soto died July 25, 2024, at her home. Mrs. Kramer worked at Penaljo Shoe Factory and she was a retired housekeeper at Baymont Inn Festus. Born June 12, 1936, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ruby Pearl (Pease) Wells.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Samuel Arthur Kramer.
She is survived by a daughter: Colleen (Brian) Smock of De Soto; three siblings: Chester (Irene) Wells of Richwoods, Alice Pullen of Richwoods and Bernice (James) Boyer of De Soto; a grandchild: Jamie (John) Freedle; and three great-grandchildren: Jordanna (Jason) Denton, RJ Freedle and Jameson Freedle.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Kathy Woodring; and three brothers: John Wells, Raymond Wells and Byron Wells.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. today, July 29, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
