Deborah Sue Crockett, 69, of Festus died Jan. 30, 2025, at her home. Ms. Crockett attended Oak Bridge Community Church in Arnold where she loved serving with people in Mosaic arts. She enjoyed reading and studying God’s word. She will be remembered for her big heart and laughter. Born Aug. 14, 1955, in Lorain, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Janet (McGinnis) and LeeRoy Newton.
She is survived by her son: Shawn (Rachel) Crockett of Festus; a sister: Lila (Jerry) Blanton of Festus; a brother: Daniel (Christina) Newton of Festus; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Brent Newton.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
