Deborah Kay "Debi" Hurst, 72, of Festus died Feb. 17, 2025, at Crystal Oaks Nursing Home, in Crystal City. Mrs. Hurst worked as an area manager for AT&T. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She loved going to the beach, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Born Sept. 10, 1952, in Hayti, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Wanda (Adams) and Robert Ford Jr.
She is survived by her husband: Roger P. Hurst of Festus; a son: Ryan (Nichole) Hurst of Festus; a daughter-in-law: Brandy Hurst of Festus; a brother: Robert L. (Renee) Ford III of Arnold; five grandchildren: Ashleigh, Rian-Skai, Xander, Colton and Rexx; two great-grandchildren: Mayson and Eli; a sister-in-law: Cindy (Mark) Hammon of Festus; a brother-in-law: Mike Hurst of Festus; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son: Eric Hurst; and a sister: Barbara Buenniger.
A celebration of life will be held in May and the official date and time will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
