Deborah Irene “Debby” Brown, 72, of Herculaneum died April 24, 2024. Mrs. Brown worked as a trust officer for Central Trust Co. in Clayton. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Herculaneum. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, playing the piano, crocheting and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Born Nov. 17, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, she was the daughter of the late Buddy Earl and Goldie Irene (Estes) Guthrie.
She is survived by her husband of more than 52 years: Billy Wayne “Bill” Brown of Herculaneum; a son: Anthony (Julia) Brown of Clayton; a daughter: Stephanie (Joe) Pollock of Wentzville; two sisters: Kathy Guthrie of Marble Hill and Julie Swoboda of Kansas City; four grandchildren: Reece, Rylee, Colin and Claire; and many other family members and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
