David Wayne Wiley, 62, of Hillsboro died April 7, 2025. Mr. Wiley loved spending time with his family, especially his children. He was passionate about music and history. Known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, he had a gift for making people laugh and feel at ease. He will be remembered for his warmth, curiosity and love. Born June 25, 1962, in Festus, he was the son of the late George “Wayne” Wiley and Betty (Gilliam) Howell.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Keena Wiley; two siblings: Mark Wiley and Mary Beth Wiley Stanfield; three children: Amber Wiley-Brown, Breana (Mark) Melugin and Daniele (Benjamin Duran) Wiley; five grandchildren: Javen, Benjamin, Oliver, Kora-Vae and Jackson; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. until a funeral service at 6 p.m. Monday, April 14, at Chapel Hill Mortuary-Robert Brown Chapel, 103 4th St., in Hillsboro. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary- Robert Brown Chapel.
