David Lee King, 62, of Washington died April 4, 2025, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Mr. King worked as a systems analyst for Mastercard and then Charter-Spectrum. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Washington. He enjoyed playing golf with his father and watching sporting events on television, especially the MU Tigers. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Born June 13, 1962, in Arlington, Calif., he was the son of Bobby Lee King of Red Oak, Texas, and the late Linda (Green) King.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife: Lori (Voss) King, whom he married on Dec. 8, 2012, in Washington; seven children: Kerryn (Matthew) Alesi of Lexington, N.C., Jacob (Heather) King of St. Louis, Haley (Nicholas) Parlow of Arnold, McKenzie (fiance Luis Gonzalez) King of St. Louis, Grace King of Fenton, Jamie Brown of Washington and Jeremy Brown of New Haven; nine grandchildren: Maddox, Aurora, Madeline, Oliver, Grant, Grayden, Gavin, Cooper and Jack; two sisters: Rebecca King of Sikeston and Christy (Erik) Arminger of Red Oak, Texas; an uncle: Benny King of O'Fallon; two aunts: June King of Sikeston and Glenda (Charles) Barwick of Panacea, Fla.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Billy Ray King.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, 1053 Hwy. C, in New Haven. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the New Haven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the New Haven Care Center for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
