David Alan Agers, 72, of De Soto died March 22, 2024. Mr. Agers retired as senior vice president of De Soto Mining and was a sales associate for Purcell Tire. Born Nov. 2, 1951, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Alice E. (Underwood) and Andrew J. Agers.
He is survived by his spouse: Carol (Haas) Agers of De Soto; two children: Heather (Jamie) Hoisington and Andrew Agers, both of De Soto; six grandchildren: Madison, Jaxson, Tyler, Liam, Lyla and Parker; a sibling: Charles (June) Agers of De Soto; and a sister-in-law: Pamela Agers of Festus.
He was preceded in death by three siblings: Jack, Lloyd and Kelly Agers.
Visitation is scheduled from 3 p.m. until funeral services at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 28, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
