Singleton, Danielle

Danielle Emma Singleton, 39, of Festus died Dec. 21, 2025. Mrs. Singleton worked as a school nurse at Festus R-6 Elementary School. She enjoyed supporting her husband’s role in the Air Force, traveling, hiking and going on outdoor adventures. She loved sitting sideline cheering on her older kids at soccer and basketball games with her youngest, Mason, by her side. Most of all, she loved spending time with friends and family at their farmhouse with their dogs and chickens. Born Oct. 22, 1986, she was the daughter of Linda Herwig (Steve) Miles and Gary (Mary) Boyer and stepdaughter of Steve Engel.

She is survived by her husband: Scott Singleton; three children: Tyler, Paityn and Mason; a brother: Ryan Boyer; a sister: Holly Boyer (Bradley) Quentin; a stepsister: Nichole Williams; a father-in-law: Scott Singleton Sr.; a mother-in-law: Patricia Mielke Arnold; and numerous other family members and friends. 

Visitation is scheduled from 3:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Our Lady Catholic Church, 1550 St. Mary’s Lane, in Festus. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks, officiated by Air Force Chaplain Lieutenant Colonel Charles Dey. Those attending the service are to meet at 9:45 a.m. in the Sylvan Springs Park parking lot staging area at the intersection of Sheridan Road and Boundary Road, just east of Telegraph Road, next to the cemetery.
