Cliff Hensley, 72, of Imperial died April 18, 2025. Mr. Hensley was a proud member of the Gateway Vintage Racing Association. He enjoyed going on family vacations, working on the cars he raced, the company of his dogs and laughter shared around the kitchen table. He is remembered as a man of grit, grace and a wide-open throttle, who provided warmth and humor to those around him. Born Jan. 11, 1953, he was the son of Rose Hensley.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Paula Hensley; a son: Kyle (Jessa) Hensley; two grandchildren: Toby and Naomi Hensley; two brothers: Dan Hensley and Dave Hensley; and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 25, at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the Gateway Vintage Racing Association. Arrangements are under the direction of John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home.
