Claudia Diana “Crystal” (Rains) Ader, 58, of De Soto died Jan. 28, 2023. Ms. Rains enjoyed watching soap operas, particularly The Young and the Restless, gardening and spending time with her friends and family, especially her daughter Rachel. She kept records of Rachel’s achievements and awards as she grew up. She was fond of the color purple, wolves, dolphins and unicorns. Born May 14, 1964, in Los Angeles, Calif., she was the daughter of the late Bonnie (Turner) and Claude Rains.
She is survived by a daughter: Rachel (Logan) Murphy; three siblings: Debbie (Jeff) Perrett, Sharon Schilling and Jim (Denice) Rains; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Cassie Young; and a sister.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
