Christopher Robert Arthur Allen, 20, of House Springs died Jan. 5, 2024. Mr. Allen was a U.S. Marine and security officer for Lingle Protective Services, having recently been named employee of the year. He was a year-round athlete who trained and coached others in wrestling, cross country and track. He had been attending school to become a history teacher, in the hopes of teaching and coaching wrestling in the Northwest School system. He is remembered as a fiercely loyal and competitive man who dearly loved his friends and family. Born Jan. 9, 2003, in Bloomington, Ind., he was the son of Tonya and Ranette Allen.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his biological parents: Trina Branam and Nathan Arthur; many siblings and their families, both chosen and related: Audrey Frost with Logan, Ava and Aria, Ashley Bartels with Josh and Jaxson, Alexis Donnelly with Jeff and Hunter, Cameron Benton, Sadie Hefflinger, Harley Widner, Michael Williams, Anthony Turner, Abby Chandler and Luke Meier; four mother figures: Michelle Meier, Rachelle Livingston, Kim Stout and Jenn Garofaro; 10 father figures: Bob and Ron Wilhelm, Darin Meier, Doug Dunnegan, Heith Chandler, Von Gross, Bobby Brooks, Ken Campbell, Dave Stout and Ryan Stark; countless coaches and wrestling dads; and eight extended relatives: Beth Zaragoza, Melissa Rulo, Joshua Dobbs, Patrick Donnelly, Kelly Nash, Charlie Berge, Danny O’Callaghan and Erma Heath.
Services with full Military Honors were held Jan. 14 at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to Northwest High School wrestling. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
