Christina “Christy” Johnston, 47, of Dittmer died April 6, 2025, at St. Louis University Hospital. Born July 13, 1977, in St. Louis City, Ms. Johnston was the daughter of Becky (Hackney) Johnston of Dittmer and the late Rev. James Anthony Johnston.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two siblings: Tambra (Steve) Wiley of Dittmer and Angela (Paul) Neuschwander of High Ridge; two nephews: Sean (Haleigh) Wiley and Maxwell Neuschwander; two nieces: Sondra (Matthew) Pekarek and Gretchen (Drew) Nelson; and four great-nieces and nephews: Vivian Wiley, Nash Wiley, Crew Wiley and Emerly Pekarek.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at Morse Mill Baptist Church, 6955 Hwy B, in Dittmer. A funeral service is scheduled for noon Friday, April 11, at the church, officiated by Fred Ritter. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
