Cheryl E. (Oldham) Klund, 76, of Festus died Nov. 29, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Klund was the assistant former owner/operator of Steve’s Carstar in Arnold. She loved tending to the mini farm she shared with her husband, caring for their miniature donkeys, gardening and cooking. Born Jan. 24, 1949, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Shirley (Freesen) and Richard Oldham.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Stephen Klund.
She is survived by four daughters: Lori Dunahee of Olympian Village, Sandy (Ted) Kottwitz of Hillsboro, Stephanie (Paul) Beck of Festus and Christine (Jason) Bigger of Arnold; two brothers: Walter “Sam” (Debbie) Oldham of St. Louis and John (Mary) Oldham of Arnold; a sister: Nancy Oldham of St. Paul, Minn.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to Legacy Animal Sanctuary, 9669 Serenity Springs Lane, Dittmer, 63023, or Renaissance Rescue Ranch, 4305 Hwy. O, Farmington, 63040. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
