Charley J. Eoff, 88, of Dittmer died Nov. 26, 2024. Mr. Eoff worked as an excavator and owned and operated A & K Grading. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve. Born July 11, 1936, in Grubville, he was the son of the late Arthur and Nettie Mamie (Brameloah) Eoff.
He is survived by his wife: Anna (Gilliam) Eoff of Dittmer; a son: Kevin (Mikki) Eoff of Dittmer; a stepdaughter: Sherri Friel of Fairdealing; a sibling: Perry (Vernis) Eoff of Cedar Hill; seven grandchildren: Abe (Crystal) Eoff, Ben Eoff, Cassie (Daniel) Turnbaugh, Danielle Friel, Jacob Friel, Samantha Friel and Eric Friel; 18 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Sophee Eoff
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Grubville. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
