Charles Eldon Rogers, 84, of Dittmer died June 13, 2026, at his home on the Rogers Century Farm. Mr. Rogers retired from the Chrysler automobile manufacturing plant in Fenton and was a member of U.A.W. Local 110. He enjoyed working on the family farm and hosting family gatherings. Born June 21, 1941, in Ware, he was the son of the late Lola (Brown) and Arthur Rogers Sr.
He is survived by his wife: Nancy (Lewis) Rogers of Dittmer; seven children: Kathy (Neal) Finch of De Soto, John (Mary) Rogers of Dittmer, Jim Rogers of De Soto, Anthony (Cindy) Rogers of De Soto, Kelly (Jason) Knobloch of De Soto, Kristina Rogers Long of De Soto and Sarah (Phil Mittler) Rogers of De Soto; a brother: Floyd “Bud” Rogers of De Soto; 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son: Eric Coulter; a sister: Beverly Carrow; two brothers: Frank Rogers Sr. and Arthur Rogers Jr.; a brother-in-law: Norman Carrow; and three sisters-in-law: Mary Rogers, Doris Rogers and Joyce Rogers.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Bethlehem Memorial Gardens, 11024 Rousan Road, in Dittmer, 63023, officiated by Floyd “Bud” Rogers. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Cemetery in Dittmer. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
