Charlene Eugenia Welch, 84, of Festus died Oct. 24, 2023, at her home. Ms. Welch was a member of the Mississippi Eagles and managed the Rainbow Lounge. She enjoyed fishing and working in her flower bed. Born Jan. 27, 1939, in Iron County, she was the daughter of the late Belle (Morris) and Edward Miller.
She is survived by a daughter: Debra Neff of Checotah, Okla.; a sister: Virginia Clements of Festus; a grandson: Steve Saxion; and a great-grandson: Steven Saxion.
She was preceded in death by six siblings and a grandson: Colt Tripp.
Services will be private. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
