Carolyn Sue Meyer, 84, of Festus died Jan. 6, 2026. Born Aug. 19, 1941, in St. Louis, Mrs. Meyer was the daughter of the late Opal (Cooper) and L. Wayne Nausley.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years: Edward Elmer Meyer.
She is survived by two children: Alan (Debbie) Tucker of Festus and Rhonda (Kevin) St. John of Festus; two siblings: James (Kathy) Nausley of Festus and Linda Finder of Festus; nine grandchildren: Alan (Jennifer) Tucker II of Belgrade, Mont., Kyla (George) Levings of Wilsall, Mont., Axel Tucker of Festus, Krystal Rose of Festus, Austin (Brandy) Bregg of Arnold, Tiffany (Joshua) Donahue of Festus, Scott Tucker of Naples, Fla., Alicia Honnen of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Erica Tucker of San Antonio, Texas; three stepdaughters: Judy Richardet of Ste. Genevieve, June Hilton of Ste. Genevieve and Julia (Dan) Medaska of Seaside Beach, S.C.; six step grandchildren: Abby (Kole) Bond of Advance, Layla Boushie of Ste. Genevieve, Leslie (Jennifer) Parke of Wentzville, Jennifer (Jason) Donovan of Perryville, Jessica Richardet of Ste. Genevieve and Jamie Richardet of Ste. Genevieve; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a child: William Scott Tucker; and four stepchildren: Glenda Kemper, David Meyer, Edward Meyer and Justin Richardet.
A memorial service will take place at 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the West Pavilion of the Festus-Crystal City Elks 1721, 4 Elks Club, in Crystal City.
