Carolyn Mary Osborne, 83, of Farmington died Nov. 4, 2025, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center. Mrs. Osborne was a dedicated employee of White-Rodgers for 25 years. She was a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in De Soto, where she served for many years. She enjoyed the outdoors, nature, gardening, feeding her birds and reading. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Born Dec. 3, 1941, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Grace (Sansoucie) AuBuchon.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Joseph Carl Osborne.
She is survived by three children: David Cernicek of Cape Coral, Fla., Susan (Milton) Smith of Henrietta, Texas, and Cindy (Alan) Evans of Fresno, Calif.; six grandchildren: Elisha (Robert Otto) Cernicek, Brandon Cernicek, Garrett (Amanda) Cernicek, Brennan (Stefanie) Evans, Aidan Evans and India Evans; two great-grandchildren: Harper and Henry Cernicek; two siblings: Bonnie Krump of De Soto and James (Rosemary) AuBuchon of Bismarck; a sister-in-law: Anna Lou AuBuchon; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by three siblings: Dorothy AuBuchon, Leonard AuBuchon and Clifford AuBuchon; and a brother-in-law: Leland Krump.
A celebration of life is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at the De Soto Community Center, 400 Boyd St., in De Soto. If attending, RSVP by Saturday, Nov. 21. Inurnment will be held privately at the Masonic Cemetery in Blackwell. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 11433 Olde Cabin Road, Suite 100, St. Louis, 63141, or alz.org/stl.
