Carol Lee Blum, 67, of De Soto died Nov. 24, 2025. Mrs. Blum worked as a rural mail carrier in De Soto for the U.S. Postal Service. She enjoyed tending to her yard, watching movies, listening to Rock 'n Roll, and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born August 10, 1958, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Charles Weir and Virginia (Schmittezehe) Weir.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Dwayne J. Blum.
She is survived by a son: Wayne (Jodi) Haws of Richwoods; three sisters: Mary Ann (Gary) Huskey of De Soto, Charlotte (David) Nagel of Victoria and Beverly Boyer of De Soto; two granddaughters: Madison (Ignatius) Chibitty and Bethany Haws; a grandson: Christian Haws; two great-grandchildren: Athanasius and Roman; and numerous other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Edward Boyer.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at noon Saturday, Dec. 6, at Mahn Funeral Home, De Soto Chapel, 900 N. Main St., officiated by Johnny Weir.
