Carol Joan Vogt, 77, of Hillsboro died Oct. 26, 2024, in Jefferson County. Ms. Vogt retired from Hillsboro R-3 School District. She was Catholic. Born May 19, 1947, in Scranton, Pa., She was the daughter of the late Christine Pfleckl and Earnest Kispert.
She is survived by two children: Tom Vogt and Tina Vogt; a granddaughter: Daniell Vogt (Bobby) Korte; two great-grandchildren: Finn and Freya; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother: George Kispert.
A celebration of life is scheduled from 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Amvets Post 48, 1075 Amvets Drive, in De Soto.
