Carol G. (Williams) Bonner, 85, of Maryland Heights died Jan. 4, 2026. Mrs. Bonner grew up in Festus and was the middle child of eight siblings living in a small house. She worked as a unit secretary at Incarnate Word Hospital and eventually SSM DePaul Hospital for many years. She loves spending time with her family and hearing their stories, especially about her grandkids. She was devoted to her faith and enjoyed live-streaming daily Mass and rosaries. Born Nov. 30, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cleo Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James L. Bonner.
She is survived by four children: Cathy (Will) Fuest, Tim (Marsha) Bonner, Tony (Kelly) Bonner and Becky (Tom) Bonner; grandchildren: Anthony (Erika), Ryan (Zoe), Abby (Chelsea) and Blake; siblings and in-laws: Annetta (Ed) Johnson, Judy Williams, Mary (Fred) Thoelke, Steve Williams, Joan Boyer, Ann (Ken) Schutz, Joan Bonner and Tony Moennig; a granddog: Luna; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers: Lloyd Williams, John (Thelma) Williams and Paul Williams; sisters-in-law: Jayne Williams and Helen Moennig; and a brother-in-law: Francis Bonner.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at Collier’s Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd., in St. Ann. A funeral Mass is scheduled from 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at Holy Spirit Church, 3130 Parkwood Lane, in Maryland Heights. Interment will be in St. Philippine Cemetery.
