Carlene L. (Layman) Stubblefield, 86, of Eureka died July 17, 2025. Born June 11, 1939, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Eileen (Wines) and Richard Layman.
She is survived by two children: Rick (the late Barb) Stubblefield and Sheri Kase; three grandchildren: Jennifer (Jared) Lause, Joshua (Kirstyn) Lewis and Jared (Angelina) Stubblefield; nine great-grandchildren: Liam, Adam, Ethan, Jackson, Kaleb, Emmy, Miranda, Remi and Mya; a sibling: Richard (the late Barb) Layman; and many friends.
Services are private. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home in Eureka.
