Lee, Carl

Carl W. “Spank” Lee, 59, of Dittmer died Oct. 15, 2025. Mr. Lee loved spending time with his family, hunting with his buddies and working with the youth in the church or Boy Scouts. He enjoyed telling stories, as some of his favorites start with when he was on youth mission trips or around a campfire. He also loved his dog, Dakota, and his grand dogs, Rosie, Maverick and Penny. Born July 3, 1966, he was the son of Linda and Carl Lee.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Tracy (Simino) Lee, whom he married on July 5, 1996; a child: C.J. (Neah) Lee; a stepchild: Amanda White; two step-grandchildren: Kayla and William White; a sibling: Scott (Monica) Lee; four nieces and nephews: Abigail, Gretchen (Ed), Emily (Josh) and Doug (Randa); nine hunting buddies: Dave, Bill, Anthony, Mike, Noah, Nathan, Jacob, Andrew and Joe; and many other friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Tricia “Little Sis” Lee (Mike) Fromm; and his grandparents.

Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until services at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Temple Baptist Church, 444 Beeman St., in Sullivan. Memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church Youth Group in Sullivan or Sheltering Wings Mission. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
