Burnell A. Raebel, 99, of Imperial died June 6, 2026. Mr. Raebel was a lifelong member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Imperial, and he loved spending time with his family. He was born on Dec. 29, 1926.
He is survived by his wife: Rose Raebel; four children: Karen (Scott) Geary, Janice (Eddie Jr.) Lowry, Glenda (Brian) Haefner and Wayne (Melanie) Raebel; 12 grandchildren: Marie (Jason) Schopp, Jacklyn (Eddie III) Lowry, Sarah (John) Schmitz, David Graham, Crystal (Andrew) Burcham, Samuel (Chelsea) Lowry, Ida (Jordan Kukal) Haefner, Emma (Chase) Prescott, Brittany (Randy) Carver, Kelsey (Don) Nash, Connor Raebel and Olivia (Chase) Karr; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Visitation will resume from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11, at St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 6610 St. Luke’s Church Road, in Imperial, 63052. Interment will take place in Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Luke's United Church of Christ. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
