Brian K. Lang, 70, of Crystal City died Feb. 19, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Lang was a retired shipping superintendent from River Cement Corporation. He was a member of the Crystal City Planning and Zoning Committee and the Festus-Crystal City Conservation Club. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting with his bird dogs, cooking and spending time with family. Born Jan. 21, 1955, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Joyce (Cooper) and Bernard Lang.
He is survived by his wife: Cindy (Rider) Lang; a daughter: Megan (Zac) Boland of San Diego, Calif.; two sons: Corey Fenwick of Festus and Joey Fenwick of Festus; five grandchildren: Cody, Payton, Nash, Bernie and Josie; three brothers: Carl (Susan) Lang of Manchester, Kirk (Jill) Lang of Williston, Vt., and Craig (Barb) Lang of New Haven; two brothers-in-law: Denny (Sue) Rider of High Ridge and Lynn (Debbie) Rider of Barnhart; a sister-in-law: Susan (Scott) Sadler of Pevely; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Mark (Susan survives of south St. Louis County) Lang.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus, officiated by Pastor Brian King of Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens in Webster Groves. Memorials may be made to the Festus-Crystal City Conservation Club, 2567 Hwy. 67, Festus, 63028. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral.
