Sego, Bradley

Bradley Ryan Sego, 48, of Sullivan died Dec. 15, 2024, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mr. Sego was a 1994 Grandview High School graduate and received a bachelor of science degree at the Lutheran School of Nursing to be an RN. He worked as a traveling nurse throughout many states, visiting Arkansas and Texas and made Florida his home for 8 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking, camping and spending time at the family cabin on the Meramec River. He loved going to Branson and attending Jeep rallies in Eureka Springs. He loved the ocean and going on cruises. He participated in several mountain bike rides from Miami to Key West, Fla. He attended Deer Creek Church in Cuba, Mo., with his father. Most of all, he loved family gatherings and time spent with friends. Born Dec. 28, 1975, in St. Louis, he was the son of Donald Caffrey (Sheila) Sego of Sullivan and Janet Ann Hinch (Flavio Rovertoni) Hopkins of Columbia, Ill.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister: Kimberly (Mike Peirick) Sego of Cedar Hill; four stepsiblings: Shawna Terry of Bland, Alicia (Andrew) Gebhardt of St. Charles, Flavio (Katherine) Rovertoni Jr. of Milwaukee, Wis, and Anthony Rovertoni of Desloge; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Kenneth and Angelina Sego; and maternal grandparents: Clinton and Imogene Hinch.

Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Hutson Funeral Home, 601 W. Main St., in Steelville. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Tommy Miller. Burial will be in Barnicle Chapel Cemetery in Steelville. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutson Funeral Home.
