Bonita Faye “Boni” Drury, 81, of Festus died June 15, 2025. Mrs. Drury was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City. She loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her strength, tenderness and her ability to make others feel valued. Born May 2, 1944, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Hazel) and Earl White.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Adrian F. “Bud” Drury Jr.
She is survived by a daughter: Christine (Darrin) Leisure of Dittmer; a son: Dan (Suzanne) Drury of Festus; a brother: David (Jane) White of Festus; a sister: Debbie (the late Dale) LaBrot of De Soto; four grandchildren: Amanda (Alex) Darian, Kyle Wienhoff, Haley Drury and Daniel Drury Jr.; and two great-grandchildren: Nathan Wienhoff and Jackson Darian.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 555 Bailey Road, in Crystal City, officiated by Father Michael Boehm. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, 63110. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
