Billy G. White Jr., 67, of Blackwell died April 24, 2026, in Washington County. Mr. White was a maintainer for Anheuser-Busch Container. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of De Soto, a lifetime member of Amvets Post 48 and a member of the Amvets Post 48-Riders. Born Aug. 9, 1958, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Lois N. (McGinnis) and Billy G. White Sr.
He is survived by his wife: Karen I. (Barks) White of Blackwell, whom he married on Feb. 14, 1981; a child: Billy (Dawn) White of Festus; five grandchildren: Billy “Buddy Boy,” Elijah “Eli,” Jacob, Kaleb and Bently; and two siblings: Debbie (Roger) Hageman of Hartshorn and Anita (the late Gary) Kenly of Hartshorn.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Amy White; and a sister: Nancy (Doug survives) Boyer.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at First Baptist Church of De Soto, 2000 Grace Way, in De Soto, 63020. A celebration of life will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Amvets Post 48, 1075 Amvets Drive, in De Soto, 63020. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of De Soto or Amvets Post 48. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
