Beverly Jean Osborn, 69, of Arnold died Sept. 24, 2025, at her home. Ms. Osborn was known for serving others and giving to those around her what she did not have growing up. She will be remembered as a loving and generous woman who provided a home to those who needed it and never gave up on others. Born July 12, 1956, in Kansas City, she was the daughter of the late Sonny and Evelyn (Murphy) Osborn.
She is survived by her partner: John Daniels; two children: Jamie Portell and John (Mercy) Brankovic; a grandchild: Jeremiah Otto Schwartz; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a child: Jeremy Portell; and siblings: Cheryl Ibarra-Gayles, Brenda Boston, Sonya Rice and two infant brothers.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Interment will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice South. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
