Betty Jean Rogers, 67, of Branson died July 23, 2025. Mrs. Rogers recently retired from Cigna Healthcare after 21 years. She loved planning and decorating to make gatherings and holidays special for her friends and family. She enjoyed planting flowers, traveling, going on cruises and spending time with her family, especially her daughter and grandsons. She was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church in Branson and previously Good News Community Church in Festus, where she taught Sunday School. She treasured time working at Presley’s Country Jubilee, being able to meet and talk to many different people. Born June 15, 1958, in Lafayette, Ind., she was the daughter of Theresa (McCormick) Perry of Crystal City and the late Roy Dean Perry.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Dennis Dale Rogers of Branson, whom she married on Feb. 18, 1999; a daughter: Jennifer Garnatz of St. Louis; two grandchildren: Kaleb Morgan, currently stationed with the U.S. Navy in Iwakuni, Japan, and Tyler Morgan of St. Louis; three sisters: Peggy (Bob) Gift of Fredericksburg, Va., Kathy (Tony) Bova of Crystal City and Nancy (Ron) Spoth of Festus; four sisters-in-law: Shirley (Vincent) Wilson of Republic, Janet (Tony) Emily of Springfield, Kathy Rogers of Springfield and Marilyn (Rob) Frazier of Festus; two brothers-in-law: Carl (Dorothy) Rogers of Lebanon and Kerry (Diane) Rogers of Festus; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son: Douglas Eugene Winkler; a brother-in-law: Richard Rogers; and parents-in-law: Carl and Leova Rogers.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 3 p.m. until a memorial service at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at Good News Community Church, 2793 Hwy. 61, in Festus. A visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. until a celebration of life service at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, at Presley’s Country Jubilee in Branson.
