Betty C. Acre, 94, of Arnold, formerly of Pevely, died July 30, 2026, at Cedarhurst Senior Living in Arnold. Mrs. Acre was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Imperial and Eastern Star Chapter 325 in Herculaneum. Born March 26, 1932, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Katherine Guth Niemeyer and Charles Niemeyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years: Charles R. Acre.
She is survived by three children: Kathy (Rick) Ebersohl, Bruce (Tina) Acre and Jeanette (the late Butch) Wilson; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews.
She also was preceded in death by a brother: Raymond Niemeyer.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5222 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Visitation will resume at 9 a.m. until a funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at St Luke's United Church of Christ, 6610 St. Luke’s Church Road, in Imperial, officiated by the Rev. James Hill. Interment will follow in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to St Luke's United Church of Christ in Imperial. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
