Bernice Williams, 90, of De Soto died Nov. 15, 2025, at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto. Mrs. Williams retired from the De Soto Walmart after 36 years. Born Oct. 9, 1935, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Alma (Belcher) and Preston Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Gene Williams.
She is survived by a daughter: Nancy Moore of De Soto; four sons: Gerald “Jerry” Williams of De Soto, Tim Williams of De Soto, Shawn (Alex Young) Williams of St. Louis and Michael (Karen) Williams of Festus; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Patrick Williams; a son-in-law: W.G. Moore; a sister: Alma Rainwater; and eight brothers: Ralph Williams, Pat Williams, Herb Williams, David Williams, Mike Williams, Bob Goff, Harry Goff and Olden Goff.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
