 
            Bernardine Rose (Kemper) Beckemeyer, 98, of Crystal City died Oct. 28, 2025, at Crystal Oaks Skilled Nursing Facility in Crystal City. Mrs. Beckemeyer was a member of First Baptist Church of Festus. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed crafting. She also enjoyed traveling and visited places with groups, including Alaska, Mexico, Niagara Falls and more. Born Aug. 30, 1927, in Bloomsdale, she was the daughter of the late Anton Kemper and Pansy (Weber) Kemper.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William L. Beckemeyer.
She is survived by two daughters: Sharon (Darrell) Flieg of Festus and Linda (Richard) Lown of Festus; four granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Sandra Beckemeyer; a grandson: Wesley A. Lown; a great-grandson: James M. Feick II; and nine siblings.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. until services at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus, officiated by the Rev. Ryan Sutton. A private interment will follow on Thursday, Nov. 6, in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to Second Hand Heros in Crystal City.
