Wynn, Barbara

Barbara Ann Wynn, 74, of St. Louis died Jan. 28, 2026. Ms. Wynn was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family and friends and making her home a place of comfort, kindness and warmth. She enjoyed going on walks, getting lost in a good book and working on crossword puzzles. Most of all, she loved spending time with her granddaughter and her close-knit family. She will be remembered for her caring spirit, gentle nature and generosity. Born April 26, 1951, in Brownsville, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Willie Cecil Archer and Stella Louise (Nichols) Archer. 

She is survived by a brother: Billy Douglas (Becky) Archer of Brownsville, Tenn.; four sisters: Shelby Jean (Corky) Helton of Hornsby, Tenn., Betty Ann (Paul) Kavanaugh of De Soto, Linda Louise Brandsoy of Festus and Kathy Irene (Greg) Overby of Munford, Tenn.; a granddaughter: Desiree Alexander; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son: Phillip Michael Wynn; three brothers: Cecil Ray Archer, Willie Ralph Archer and Daniel Franklin Archer; four sisters: Helen Archer, Joan Margaret Smith, Carolyn Sue Stuart and Janie Diane Winkle; and a brother-in-law: Aage Brandsoy.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. today, Feb. 3, in Peaceful Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, Donation Processing Center, P.O.
