Barbara Ann Coleman, 77, of Festus died Oct. 12, 2025. Mrs. Coleman was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing Bingo and cards and watching shows like The Price is Right. Born March 10, 1948, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Della and Ella (Courtaway) Boyer.
She was proceeded in death by her husband: Jerry W. Coleman.
She is survived by four children: Jerry (Shannon) Coleman Jr. of Festus, Jamie (Matt) Coleman of Hematite, Robert Coleman of Hematite and Mandy (Rick) Lee of St. Louis; three siblings: Lena Wicker of De Soto, Danny "Sock" (Judy) Boyer of De Soto and Gerald (Kay Kite) Boyer of De Soto; a sister-in-law: Joyce Boyer of De Soto; a brother-in-law: George Hoffman of Blackwell; and 16 grandchildren: Brandon, Morgan, Tyler, Jerry III, Colton, Eli, Kindall, Ella, Peyton, Brenzden, Julianna, Jessica, Dom, Alicia, Kelly and Jordan.
She was preceded in death by a son: Leon Latham; five siblings: Bessie (the late Rich) Trojan, Ella Hoffman, Donald (the late Sandy) Boyer, Wyman (the late Judy) Boyer and Earl Boyer; and a brother-in-law: Avery Wicker.
The family would like to thank Patti Boyer Govero and the staff at Serenity Hospice. Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. until services at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, 63020. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
