Arabella Isla Cowan, 11 months, of Panama City, Fla., died Sept. 5, 2026. Arabella was born a month early and was considered a fighter. In her 11 months, she brought light to her father and mother. She loved to laugh, squeal and smile. She also loved the Bluey theme song and would swing her head left and right and smile. Born Oct. 4, 2025, she was the daughter of Bryce Cowan and Anna Betancourt.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandparents: Lorena Quinones and Richardo Betancourt and Bryan and Stacy Cowan; great-grandparents: Pam (Bret) Meese, Mark (Terri) Bourisaw, Sheila Cowan and Howard Cowan; her maternal great–grandmother: Gladys Romero; great-great-grandparents: Al and Sharon Meese; aunts and uncles: Joshue Betancourt, Raquel Betancourt, Tia (Gabe) Esquivel and Jaquan Thompson; her great-aunts and uncles; her cousins; and many other family members.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Panama City, Fla.
