
Anthony Joseph Schnur, 82, of Pevely died Sept. 17, 2025. Mr. Schnur was a member of the Laborers Local 110. He enjoyed spending time with his family, beekeeping, scrapping, working in the yard and garden, reading, and watching Gold Rush and American Pickers. Born June 25, 1943, in Monterey, Calif., he was the son of the late Irma Louise (Wunderlich) Schnur and Tony Schnur.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Raydene (Davison) Schnur.
He is survived by five children: Kerry (Ted) Fox of Pevely, Mary (Curtis) Fielder of Festus, Terry Whalen of St. Louis, Amie (Aaron) McKenzie of Union and Anthony (Cindy) Schnur Jr. of Pevely; five grandchildren: Casey (Brantley) Culley, Cassidy (Chris) Lowe, Sarah Whalen, Nick (Crystal) Fox and Jessica Fox; five great-grandchildren: Mia, Leland, Rori, Ellie and Theo; and three siblings: Carol Schnur of St. Louis, Jeanette Schnur of St. Louis and Richard Schnur of St. Louis.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor LeeRoy Lundry. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
