Anna Sylvia (Fraher) Rogers, 82, of Wareham, Mass., died Aug. 21, 2025. Ms. Rogers raised her family in New England. She spent many summers camping with her children, building memories around campfires, lakes and trails. In her younger years, she loved doing puzzles and always welcomed a challenge. A lifelong reader, she had a particular fondness for the works of James Patterson and John Grisham and could often be found with a book in hand and her cat curled up nearby. She also loved traveling and enjoyed exploring new places. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, strong values, gentle heart and devotion to her family. Born March 30, 1943, in Wareham, she was the daughter of the late Francis Joseph Fraher and Anna Sylvia Rose Fraher.
She is survived by three children: James Michael (Karen) Rogers II, Deanne Marie (William) Spuhl and Terrilee Ann (Barry) Good; four grandchildren: Amelia Spuhl, Will Spuhl, James Rogers and Vail Rogers; two sisters: Trudie Coppedge and Kit Mann; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a grandson: Zade Rogers; and a brother: Francis Fraher Jr.
Services will be private. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
