Cook, Anna

Anna “Ann” (Frolo) Cook, 99, of Cedar Hill died June 24, 2024. Born Jan. 16, 1925, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Pavlovich) and John Frolo.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Dewey Cook Jr.

She is survived by a son: Donald (Fern) Cook; a daughter-in-law: Judy Cook; nine grandchildren: Chris Chapman, Angie Cook, Mandy Roberson, Cindy (Judy) Cook, Kenny (Kelly) Cook, Jason (Jill) Cook, Travis (Hilary) Blake, Tracy Torres and Todd (Liz) Blake; 18 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends.

She also was preceded in death by a son: Dewey Wayne “Skip” Cook; a daughter: Cheryl Schmidt; a great-great-grandson: Avery; nine sisters and three brothers; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Mercy Hospice or DAV (Disabled American Veterans). Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
