Amy Jeanne Joedicke, 60, of De Soto died Nov. 9, 2024, at her home. Mrs. Joedicke had worked as a school bus driver for De Soto Public School District for 19 years and then at De Soto Walmart for 15 years. Born June 4, 1964, in Crystal City, she was the daughter of Frances A. “Fran” (Blecha) Missey of De Soto and the late Charles Elmer Missey.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Jeff Joedicke of De Soto; a child: Chris (Djuna Graves) Joedicke of Hillsboro; a grandchild: Boston Joedicke; a sister: Jennifer (Joe) Missey of De Soto; two brothers: Anthony “Tony” (Jenifer) Missey of Potosi and Gary (Sue) Missey of De Soto; three sisters-in-law: Joyce (Dale) Graham of Garden Ridge, Texas, Marie Schuh of Hillsboro and Tracy (Matt) Zoph of De Soto; three brothers-in-law: Roy (Mary Lee) Joedicke of De Soto, Emil M. “Matt” Joedicke Jr. of De Soto and Steve (Linda) Joedicke Sr. of De Soto; and a special friend: Kathy Nicholls.
She was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law: Alan Schuh and Albert Allen Joedicke.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 211 N. Broadway, Suite 2035, St. Louis, 63102. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
