Adam Ray Wilson, 48, of Bonne Terre died Jan. 6, 2025, at Parkland Hospital. Mr. Wilson spent the greatest part of his youth volunteering as a firefighter for De Soto. There, he built friendships and character. He spent years driving trucks for Midwest Sanitation, Coca-Cola and AmeriGas. Once becoming disabled, he returned to work at Walmart where he enjoyed interacting with the customers and his coworkers. He will be remembered for his hard work. He attended The Bridge Community Church in Bonne Terre and was active in the community group while still sharing a bond with those in the church he grew up in. His greatest joy was his family and his dogs. He loved cheering on his kids in many aspects of life, whether they were working behind the scenes on stage, on the court or field or in the gaming lab. He was known for having kind words of encouragement, words of guidance or a bit of sass to share. Born Sept. 7, 1976, he was the son of Barbara (Ed) Lueth and the late Chester Ray Wilson.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his significant other: Jennifer Bullis; five children: Emily, Hunter, Keaton, Paris and Genevieve; a brother: Michael (Julie) Wilson; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents: Ben and Millie Wallace and Grandma Betty.
A memorial visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a celebration of life at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at The Bridge Community Church, 47 W. Johnson St., in Bonne Terre, officiated by Pastor Seth Durbin. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
