Edith Eileen Anderson, 79, of Herculaneum died June 25, 2023, in Festus. Ms. Anderson enjoyed playing bingo, watching old Westerns and spending time with her family and friends. Born Aug. 3, 1943, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Anna O. (Kelly) and Dorris Blanks. She was preceded in death by her husband: Gary A. Anderson.
She is survived by two daughters: Stephanie A. Bailey of Herculaneum and Daphne Simora of Lake Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother: Ronald Blanks of San Jose, Calif.; a sister: Dorothy (Harold) Murray of San Jose, Calif.; three grandchildren: Christopher (Abigail) Anderson, Kelsey Bailey and Anna Anderson; four great-grandchildren: Jon, Adeline, Oliver and Emmett; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister: JoAnn Primm.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 28 at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, in Festus. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, June 29, at the funeral home. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
