Carl Lloyd Tuller, 89, of Festus died June 24, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Tuller was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired from the PPG glass plant in Crystal City. He was the owner/operator of an asphalt and paving company and a longtime member of Hematite Christian Church. Born July 20, 1933, he was the son of the late Gladys (Lee) and Lloyd Charles Tuller.
He is survived by his wife: Joyce (Boyd) Tuller; two daughters: Linda (the late Robert) LaBrot of Crystal City and Lisa (Jack) Dye of Potosi; three brothers: James L. (the late Nancy) Tuller, David (the late Delores) Tuller and Paul (Cecile) Tuller; 13 grandchildren: Kimberly Askew, Stacy LaBrot, Jaime LaBrot, Robert LaBrot, Scott Waters, John Waters, Kristy Dye, Tiffany Rowlison, Daniel Dye, Brandon Duke, Michael Duke, Tyler Duke and Cameron Duke; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Carla Kuehn; a stepson: Randy (Laurie survives) Duke; and a brother: Glenn (Joan survives) Tuller.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 29, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus. Burial with full military honors is in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
